Σε Πολική δίνη οι ΗΠΑ – το «μεγάλο πάγωμα» της Αμερικής

Η πολική δίνη που σαρώνει τις τελευταίες μέρες τις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες της Αμερικής σημείωνοντας ρεκορ χαμηλών θερμοκρασιων, που έχει βυθίσει όλη τη χώρα στον «παγο» δίνει θερμοκρασίες που άνετα συγκρίνονται με αυτές της Αλάσκα! Οι φωτογραφίες από ολοκληρη την Αμερική που δείχνουν παγωμένη λαβή της, σε όλες τις 50 πολιτείες και ειναι συγκλονιστικες.

Φωτογραφίες από κατεψυγμένες παραλίες στο Σικάγο, τις δομές της πόλης θαμμένες σε πάγο στη Νεμπράσκα, και ένας παγωμένος καταρράκτης συνθετουν μια όπερα που ολα της καλύπτονται από κρυσταλόλιθους και πάγο. Με τις καιρικές αυτές  συνθήκες η θερμοκρασία σε πολλές περιοχές της χώρας έπεσε τόσο χαμηλά όσο τους -37C!

Το Central Park της Νέας Υόρκης έσπασε ένα 118-year-old ρεκόρ, όταν η θερμοκρασία έπεσε στους-15C,στην δε πόλη του Μίτσιγκαν αντιμετωπίζουν χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες των-26C σύμφωνα με το Fox News.

Οι πρωτοφανείς πολικές θερμοκρασίες που επικρατούν μεταξύ άλλων περιοχών των ΗΠΑ, και στο Σικάγο ανάγκασαν μέχρι και την πιο δημοφιλή πολική αρκούδα να επιστρέψει στη φωλιά της. Η αρκούδα με το όνομα Ανάνα, που ζει στο Lincoln Park Zoo , έκανε μια βόλτα στο πάρκο και επέστρεψε γρήγορα στη φωλιά της μην αντέχοντας τους μείον 42 βαθμούς που επικρατούσαν.

Ολα εχουν παραλύσει κάτω από τον πάγο …Σχολεία κλειστά και στις περισσότερες πολιτείες οδηγίες προς τους πολίτες να μην κυκλοφορούν έξω αν δεν υπάρχει ιδιαίτερος λόγος .. Βέβαια  άστεγοι υπάρχουν κι εδώ, έτσι… ~
